1) Our commitment
Marmo Nero (by Shlomi Cohen) is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to meet or exceed the guidance of WCAG 2.1 Level AA where feasible and practical.
2) Standards and compatibility
- Semantic HTML structure for headings, landmarks and lists.
- ARIA attributes where needed to supplement semantics.
- Keyboard navigation support (focus order and visible focus styles).
- Responsive design for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Color contrast targets for improved readability.
- Text zoom up to 200 percent without loss of structure where feasible.
- Support for major browsers and assistive technologies.
3) Key accessibility measures
- Images: alt text for meaningful photos, icons and artwork.
- Forms: labels, instructions and clear error handling.
- Navigation: consistent menu, skip link and tab order.
- Video: autoplay muted only; transcripts provided where relevant.
- Links: descriptive and understandable out of context.
- Structure: headings from H1 to H3 clarify hierarchy.
4) Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review new content and UI components before release, fix issues reported by visitors and adapt the website as standards evolve.
5) Third party content
Some features such as video embeds or social integrations depend on external platforms. While we aim to choose accessible providers, we do not control their implementation. When possible, we offer alternatives such as direct links.
